Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Kelly Nugent, Bentley (Jr., No. 3 Singles, No. 2 Doubles,
Lynnfield, MA) – Won five matches last week. Won her singles
matches against Wayne State, Saint Mary's (ID) and Georgetown
College (KY). Also won doubles matches against Florida Southern and
Saint Mary's.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Catherine Dalton, Saint Michael's (Fr., Singles, Easton, MA) -
Recorded three singles wins and a doubles win in three matches in
South Carolina.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Kelly Fleszar, Bentley (Fr., No. 2 Singles, No. 2 Doubles,
Larchmont, NY) - Was a winner in three matches this past week. Won
doubles sets against Florida Southern and against Saint Mary's (ID)
then earned a win in singles against Georgetown College (KY).
CoCo Minott, Franklin Pierce (Jr., No. 1 Singles, No. 1 Doubles,
Pennsburg, PA) - Posted a 2-0 record at No. 1 singles last week.
Posted a 6-1, 6-2 victory against Saint Anselm’s top player
and notched an identical 6-1, 6-2 decision against Southern New
Hampshire's No. 1 singles player.
Laura Nason, Saint Anselm (So., So., Shelton, CT) - In a 6-1 win
over Franklin Pierce, was part of the No. 1 doubles team that won
by an 8-4 margin, then turned around and won at No. 2 singles by a
6-2, 6-0 score.
Lana Lamesic, Saint Rose (Fr., No. 1 Singles, Horgen, Switzerland)
- Went 1-0 at No. 1 singles last week. Took a 7-5, 6-4 decision
over Stonehill's Daniella Granato to pick up the lone point on the
day for Saint Rose.
Elise Clark, Stonehill (Jr., No. 2 Singles, No. 1 Doubles, Spring
Lake, NJ) - Posted wins at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles in a 8-1
win at Saint Rose.
Lauren Rowinski, Stonehill (Fr., No. 3 Singles, No. 2 Doubles,
Franklin Lakes, NJ) - Posted wins at No. 3 singles and No. 2
doubles in 8-1 triumph at Saint Rose.
Juliet Verhofstad, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., No. 3 Singles, No.
2 Doubles, Plymouth, NH) - Was a double winner during a 7-2 win
over Franklin Pierce. Lost just one set during a win at No. 3
singles and was also part of an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles.
Megan Welch, Southern New Hampshire (So., No. 4 Singles, No. 2
Doubles) Was a double winner during 7-2 win over Franklin Pierce.
Lost just three sets during a win at No. 4 singles and was also
part of an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles.
