Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Natalija Subotic, Pace (Jr. , No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Bradenton, Fla.) - Won all four matches at No. 1 singles against American International, Le Moyne, Bentley and Stonehill. Won one match at #1 doubles in a win over American International.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Rebecca Moon, Saint Rose (Fr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Rancho Mirage, Calif.) - Registered a pair of victories in the 9-0 team win over American International. Won her first singles match in straight sets 6-2, 6-3 and was also part of an 8-3 triumph in first doubles action.

Weekly Honor Roll:


Rachael Hansen, Assumption (Jr., No. 1 Singles, New Braunfels, Texas) - Went a combined 5-1 in a 2-1 week. Scored No. 1 singles wins over Saint Rose and Franklin Pierce. Went 3-0 at No. 1 doubles.

Julia Kilgore, Assumption (Jr., No. 3 Singles, Wilton, N.H.) - Went a combined 5-1 in a 2-1 week. Scored singles wins over Saint Rose and Franklin Pierce. Went 3-0 in doubles, including 2-0 at the No. 1 position.

Kelly Fleszar, Bentley (So., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Larchmont, N.Y.) - Went 4-2 last week, helping the Falcons to wins over Stonehill and Pace and finishing second in top-flight singles at the Wheaton Invitational.

Katherine Giambalvo, Bentley (Jr., No. 6 Singles/No. 3 Doubles, Fairfield, Conn.) - Went 5-1 this past week, including 4-0 in dual matches in doubles play and helped the Falcons to a pair of wins over Stonehill and Pace. Finished third in the second doubles competition at the Wheaton Invitational.

Marcia Gilbride, Bentley (Jr., No. 4 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Topsham, Maine) - Went 5-1 this past week and won the top-flight doubles competition at the Wheaton Invitational.

Heather Haggerty, Bentley (Jr., No. 1 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Hanover, Mass.) - Went 4-2 this past week and won the top-flight doubles competition at the Wheaton Invitational.

Kelly Nugent, Bentley (Sr., No. 3 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Lynnfield, Mass.) - Went 5-1 this past week, going 4-0 in dual matches to remain undefeated in NE-10 singles play and help the Falcons to wins over Stonehill and Pace. Finished third in second singles at the Wheaton Invitational.

Emma Czarnecki, Bryant (So., No. 1 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Huntington Woods, Mich.) - Took a pair of wins at No. 1 singles this past weekend, winning against Le Moyne, 15-0, and against Saint Michael's, 7-5, 7-5. Also took a pair of wins at the No. 2 doubles spot with an 8-0 win and a 9-7 win. The Bulldogs beat Le Moyne, 9-0, then topped Saint Michael's, 8-1.

Katharine Francazio, Bryant (Fr., No. 4 Singles/No. 3 Doubles, Cranston, R.I.) – Helped the Bulldogs to a 9-0 win over Le Moyne and an 8-1 win over Saint Michael's with a pair of victories at the No. 4 singles spot, winning 6-1, 6-0, and taking another two-set win, 6-1, 6-2. Also took a pair of wins at No. 3 doubles, winning by default before taking an 8-5 victory.

Caitlin Dunn, Merrimack (So., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Middleton, Mass.) - Tallied a 2-2 singles record and a 2-1 doubles record in four matches in Orlando last week. In a 7-2 loss to Luther, recorded the only wins, one in doubles, one in singles.

Stellina Saia, Merrimack (Fr., No. 2 Singles/Doubles, Peabody, Mass.) - Recorded a 1-3 singles record to go with a 2-2 doubles score. Part of the doubles' team that won Merrimack's lone match in a 8-1 to Kalamazoo. Posted a singles and doubles victory against Bethel.

Daniella Granato, Stonehill (Sr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Concord, Mass.) – Had two NE-10 victories this past week. Won 6-1, 6-3 against Bentley then won 6-1, 6-3 versus Pace.

Caitlin Ryan, Stonehill (Fr., No. 5 Singles/No. 3 Doubles, Medfield, Mass.) - Had two NE-10 victories over Bentley (4-6, 7-5, 10-4) and Pace (6-0, 6-1) this past week. Also earned a win at third doubles with an 8-0 win over Pace.
