Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Natalija Subotic, Pace (Jr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Bradenton, Fla.) - Went undefeated at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles in three matches against Saint Rose, Franklin Pierce and Saint Michael's. Won in straight sets against Saint Rose 6-1, 6-1. Won 6-0 6-0 in singles matches against Franklin Pierce and Saint Michael's.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Valeria Couto Cuervo, Bryant (Fr., No. 5 Singles, Guaynabo, P.R.) - Went 3-0 last week at No. 5 singles in leading the team to three wins. Won all matches in straight sets including a 6-4, 6-0 win over Holy Family. Was also victorious in two doubles matches on the week.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Sara Pfefferkorn, American International (Jr., No. 1 Singles, Ludlow, Mass.) - Defeated Stonehill 4-6, 7-6(7-2), 10-7 in the No. 1 singles match-up.

Emma Czarnecki, Bryant (So., No. 1, Huntington Woods, Mich.) - Posted a 3-0 record at No. 1 singles in three wins last week. Posted a big three-set win over Holy Family and also helped lead Bryant's No. 1 doubles team to three victories on the week.

Chelsea Downing, Bryant (So., No. 2 Singles, Cherry Hills, Colo.) - Posted a 3-0 record on the week at No. 2 singles. Pulled out a three-game win over Merrimack and added a straight-set win at No. 2 versus American International. Followed with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Holy Family.

Erika Sartor, Saint Anselm (Fr., No. 5 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Andover, Mass.) - Was 3-1 this past week as the team split a pair of matches. After dropping her No. 1 doubles match versus Southern New Hampshire, picked up an 8-6 win at No. 5 singles. In a 9-0 rout of Franklin Pierce, won at both No. 2 doubles and No. 4 singles.

Lindsay Horne, Saint Michael's (So., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Scituate, Mass.) - In an 8-0 win over Franklin Pierce, she won her No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-0 and No. 1 doubles match 8-2.

Michelle Wood, Saint Michael's (Sr., No. 3, Chatham, N.Y.) - In a pair of wins over Franklin Pierce (8-0) and Pace (6-3), won all four matches. At No. 3 singles versus the Ravens, rolled 6-1, 6-0 before notching a decisive 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles. In a 6-3 win over Pace, swept her No. 3 singles opponent (6-0, 6-0) and captured a No. 2 doubles win, 8-6, to secure the team win.
