Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Caitlin Dunn, Merrimack (Sr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Middleton,
Mass.) - Went 3-0 this past week, winning her doubles matches 8-2
and 8-5, while winning a singles match 6-2, 6-0 over New Haven.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Leah White, Stonehill (Fr., No. 3 Singles/No. 2 Freshman, East
Walpole, Mass.) - Won 6-2, 6-2 in her only singles match of the
week to finish a perfect 12-0 in conference play. Also won 8-3 in
doubles action in the team’s win over Le Moyne.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Kara Murphy, Bentley (Fr., No. 5 Singles/No. 3 Doubles, Worcester,
Pa.) - Had a 4-0 week, going undefeated in singles and doubles. Two
of those wins came as Bentley upset Concordia (N.Y.), the topped
ranked team in the East Region.
Andrea Hollot, Bentley (Sr., No. 4 Singles/No. 2 Doubles,
Easthampton, Mass.) - Was 3-1 on the week, including 2-0 in
singles. Won both of her matches against Concordia (N.Y.).
Drew Alexander, Franklin Pierce (Fr., No. 5 Singles, Long Beach,
N.Y.) - Posted an 8-4 win at fifth singles against Southern New
Hampshire.
Tirzah Walrath, Le Moyne (Jr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Cortland) -
Opened up the week winning at first doubles by a score of 8-3
against American International. Won against Stonehill at first
singles 1-6, 6-2, 10-8. Dropped first doubles 8-3. Overall went 1-0
at first singles and 1-1 at first doubles.
Courtney Garvey, Merrimack (Fr., No. 6 Singles/No. 2 Doubles,
Woburn, Mass.) - Won her singles match 6-0, ret. against New Haven
and her doubles match 8-0 against American International.
Natalija Subotic, Pace (Sr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Bradenton,
Fla.) - Won at #1 Singles 6-2, 6-0 and also at #1 Doubles 8-4 in a
team win over Saint Rose.
Deahna Giguere, Saint Michael's (So., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles,
Oakland, Maine) - In a 5-4 loss to Bentley, earned two victories.
Posted a 6-1, 7-5 singles win, and an 8-1 doubles victory.
Lindsay Horne, Saint Michael's (Jr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles,
Scituate, Mass.) - In a 5-4 setback to Bentley, earned two
victories. Posted a three-set comeback singles win, and an 8-1
doubles victory.
Nicole Terribile, Saint Rose (Fr., No. 4 Singles/No. 2 Doubles,
Washingtonville, N.Y.) - Went 2-0 in singles play and finished 1-1
in doubles action during a 1-1 week. Took a 6-2, 3-6, 12-10 triumph
from the No. 4 singles position at Pace and then walked away with a
6-4, 6-3 decision at fifth singles versus Franklin Pierce. From the
doubles side, won her match against Franklin Pierce in the No. 2
position 8-6.
Amber Chandronnait, Southern New Hampshire (So., No. 1
Singles/Doubles, Bow, N.H.) - Posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1
singles and a 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles in the team’s lone
match of the week against Franklin Pierce.
Catalina Echeverry, Southern New Hampshire (So., No. 2 Singles/No.
1 Doubles, Cali, Colombia) - Posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles
and a 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles in the team’s lone match of
the week against Franklin Pierce.
Sarah Hickey, Stonehill (Fr., No. 5 Singles/No.3 Doubles, Lee,
Mass.) - Won her only singles match of the week 6-1, 6-2 to improve
to 8-0 in conference play in the team’s win over Le Moyne.
Also won her only doubles match of the week 8-6.
Caitlin Ryan, Stonehill (So., No. 4 Singles, Medfield, Mass.) -
Won 6-1, 6-0 in her only singles match of the week in the
team’s win over Le Moyne to finish a perfect 11-0 in NE-10
