Northeast-10 Men’s Athlete of the Week

Mark Garcia, UMass Lowell (Jr., Everett, Mass.) - Placed fifth in a field of 225 runners and led UMass Lowell to fifth place at the UMass Dartmouth Shriners Invitational. Ran the five-mile course in 25:14.

Northeast-10 Women’s Athlete of the Week

Melissa Nash, Bentley (Jr., Marshfield, Mass.) - Posted a time of 19:01 over the 5,015-meter Franklin Park course to finish 47th in a 94-runner field. Was the only non-Division I runner in the top 69.

Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week

Angus MacDonald, UMass Lowell (Fr., Methuen, Mass.) - Placed 19th overall in a field of 225 runners at the UMass Dartmouth Shriners Invitational. Posted a time of 25:48 for the five-mile course and helped UMass Lowell finish fifth.

Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the Week

Meaghan Lucie, Saint Rose (Fr., West Islip, N.Y.) - Helped lead Saint Rose to a seventh place finish among 22 teams at the NYU Invitational. Finished 12th among 209 entries in the 5k race with a time of 20:26.

Weekly Honor Roll:


Chris O'Day, Assumption (So., Braintree, Mass.) - Finished 26th overall and first among Northeast-10 runners (28:18.2) at the Fordham Invitational.

Brooke Perron, Assumption (Sr., Hubbardston, Mass.) - Finished as the top Assumption runner (32nd overall) with a time of 20:37 at the Fordham Invitational.

Stephan Ramirez, Bentley (Sr., San Antonio, Texas) - Was Bentley's top finisher in the Boston College Invitational, placing 32nd overall with a time of 26:04 over the 7,945-meter Franklin Park course. All 31 runners to finish in front of him were from Division I institutions.
Jennifer Denise, Bryant (Fr., East Patchogue, N.Y.) - Helped lead Bryant to a third-place finish at the Saint Anselm Shacklette Invite with an 11th-place finish in a time of 21:44.

Nathaniel Green, Bryant (So., York, Maine) – Helped lead Bryant to a second-place finish at the Saint Anselm Shacklette Invite with a fourth-place finish in a time of 27:55.

Nicole Radzik, Bryant (Sr., Sutton, Mass.) - Placed first at the Saint Anselm Shacklette Invite. Finished in a time of 19:18 to lead Bryant to a third-place finish.

Jake McAndrew, Le Moyne (So., Oswego, N.Y.) – Placed third for the second consecutive week as Le Moyne placed fourth overall at the Oneonta State Airfield Invitational with a time of 19:23 on the 6K course.

Christina DaLomba, UMass Lowell (Jr., Marstons Mills, Mass.) - Placed seventh in a field of 222 runners at the UMass Dartmouth Shriners Invitational. Posted a time of 18:39 for the 5K course and led UMass Lowell to sixth place.

Laura Beatty, Merrimack (Sr., Martson Mills, Mass.) - Finished second at the Shacklette Invite, leading Merrimack to a first-place finish.

Jefferson Welch, Merrimack (Jr., Haverhill, Mass.) - Captured the Saint Anselm Shacklette Invite in a time of 27:05.0, leading Merrimack to a team victory.

Kevin Golen, Saint Anselm (Sr., Malvern, Pa.) - Placed third at the Shacklette Invitational, finishing in a time of 27:50 over the 8-kilometer course.

Mary Lynn Denholm, Saint Michael's (Jr., Sparks, Md.) - Finished eighth overall with a time of 21:10 at the Middlebury Panther Invitational to lead Saint Michael's to a second place finish.

Melissa Bredice, Saint Rose (So., Colonie, N.Y.) - Led Saint Rose to a seventh place finish among 22 competing institutions at the NYU Invitational. Covered the 5k layout in 20:25 to finish 11th among 209 participants in the race.

Brad Lewis, Saint Rose (Sr., Troy, N.Y.) – Paced Saint Rose to a 16th place showing in the 23-team field at the NYU Invitational. Finished the 8k trek in 27:20 to wind up 27th overall among 238 entries.

Alex Brown, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., Hudson, N.H.) - Finished sixth overall at the Shacklette Invitational with a time of 28:03.

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE: Junior Alex Brown's 28:03 effort at the Shacklette Invitational was the fourth-best in the 11-year history of men's cross country at Southern New Hampshire.
