Northeast-10 Men’s Athlete of the Week
John Fennekohl, Southern Connecticut (So., Mamora, N.J.) - Finished
sixth overall with a time of 26:02 in the 90 runner field at the
Fairfield University Invitational.
Northeast-10 Women’s Athlete of the Week
Frannie Kloza, Bentley (So., Lynnfield, Mass.) - Finished first in
the Shacklette Invitational at Saint Anselm, covering the
5,000-meter course in 20:13.1.
Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week
Steven Polito, Stonehill (Fr., Worcester, Mass.) - Turned in a
sixth place finish at the Tufts Invitational this past weekend,
helping Stonehill to a second place finish at the event. Completed
the course in 27:26.24.
Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the
Week
Jill Alves, Stonehill (Fr., Whitman, Mass.) - Turned in a fourth
place finish at the Tufts Invitational this past weekend. Her time
of 20:00.45 helped Stonehill to a third place finish at the
event.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Matt Hegarty, American International (So., Springfield, Mass.)
– At the Tufts' Jumbo Invitational, placed 18th with a time
of 28:21.81.
Patrick Erban, Assumption (Fr., Attleboro, Mass.) – Finished
the Shacklette Invitational with a time of 28:32.47, which was good
for seventh place. Helped the team to a third place finish
overall.
Heather Gostyla, Assumption (Sr., Bloomfield, Conn.) – At the
Shacklette Invitational, completed the race in 20:38.5 for a fifth
place finish.
Chris O'Day, Assumption (Jr., Braintree, Mass.) – At the
Shacklette Invitational, finished with a time of 28:46.69 which was
good for ninth place. Helped the team to a third place finish
overall.
Evelyn Marrero, Bentley (Fr., Amsterdam, N.Y.) - Was the runner-up
in the Shacklette Invitational, finishing nine seconds back of the
winner with a time of 20:22.1.
Jay Gould, Bentley (Fr., Westport, Conn.) - Was Bentley’s top
finisher in the Shacklette Invitational, placing sixth overall with
an 8,000-meter time of 28:31.1.
Gina Micaroni, Le Moyne (Fr., Blossvale, N.Y.) - Crossed the finish
line fifth to lead the Dolphins to a seventh-place finish at Oswego
State's Pat Peterson Invitational. Finished the 4.5K run in 17:31,
just :31 off the pace of the day's top-finisher.
Adam Holmes, Merrimack (Sr., Abington, Mass.) - Captured the
Shacklette Invitational in a time of 27:07.1. Led the Warriors to a
team victory for the second straight season.
Katelyn Meagher, Merrimack (Jr., Mansfield, Mass.) - Finished third
at the Shacklette Invite in a time of 20:31.4.
Melissa Bredice, Saint Rose (Jr., Colonie, N.Y.) - Finished fourth
overall among 62 entries at the Shacklette Invitational this past
weekend. Covered the 5k course in 20:37.3 to help the Golden
Knights capture the team title.
Pat Cullen, Saint Rose (Gr., Hyde Park, N.Y.) - Posted a time of
28:10.9 to finish fourth at the Shacklette Invitational this past
weekend. In the process, helped the Golden Knights to a second
place team finish at the event.
Ashley Jackman, Saint Rose (Fr., Duanesburg, N.Y.) - Took sixth
among 62 competitors at the Shacklette Invitational this past
weekend. Came across the line in 20:50.7 to help guide the Golden
Knights to the team title.
Macky Lloyd, Saint Rose (Fr., Voorheesville, N.Y.) - Finished third
in the 48-man field at the Shacklette Invitational this past
weekend. Covered the 8k trek in 27:48.1 as the first rookie across
the finish line in the race to help the Golden Knights to a second
place team showing.
Kevin Gill, Stonehill (So., Brockton, Mass.) - Finished fifth at
the Tufts Invitational this past weekend. Wrapped up the 8K course
in 27:25.80, helping the Skyhawks to a second place finish.
Kristina Coriaty, Stonehill (Sr., Brockton, Mass.) - Finished sixth
at the Tufts Invitational this past weekend. Wrapped up the event
in 20:13.42, helping the Skyhawks to a third place team finish.
