Four First Team Selections for NE10 Programs.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – United Soccer Coaches released its Scholar All-East Region teams on Monday, as 10 men’s and women’s student-athletes represent Northeast-10 Conference programs for their excellent performances on the field and in the classroom this season.
Four student-athletes were named First Team members, while six were on the Second Team. Six NE10 schools are represented on the Scholar All-East Region teams, with Saint Rose garnering the most selections with four.
Franklin Pierce’s Niklas Laudahn was the sole representative on the men’s side and a First Team selection, while Saint Rose had a First Team trio of Morgan Burchhardt, Marika Laurendeau and Nina Predanic.
Second Team members included Adelphi’s Kerianne Scorce and Mia York, Assumption’s Victoria Stowell, Pace’s Shannon Glenn, Saint Rose’s Nia Brown and Southern Connecticut’s Nadine Hilkert.
Among the 10 student-athletes, four were named CoSIDA Academic All-District (Laudahn, Brown, Laurendeau and Predanic) and a pair earned CoSIDA Academic All-America (Laudahn and Predanic).
To be eligible for Scholar All-Region recognition, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA throughout their career, started more than half of their team’s games while making a significant contribution, and a junior or above in academic standing. Head coaches must be United Soccer Coaches members to nominate their players.
