Kristen Coker was the dominant player in the history of the sport at Assumption College and one of the premier players in the history of the Northeast-10 Conference.
A true queen of the courts, she was named the Northeast-10 Conference Player-of-the-Year in each of her last two years (1993, 1994) after winning the conference first-flight singles title in each of those years.
She won the second-flight singles title and first-flight doubles title in 1991 and was named the conference Freshman-of-the-Year. As a sophomore, she won the second-flight singles title again and was runner-up in first flight doubles.
She was the winner of the Rev. Armand Desautels, A.A. Award as the premier female senior Student-Athlete, and finished her starry career with an incredible 53-5 singles record. Her 43-14 mark in doubles is also a team record as is the 74.5 points she won in her career. She was the Most Valuable Player and captain of her team, in both her junior and senior years.
