Breanne Gleason helped lead New Haven to a 130-66 record, including three trips to the NCAA East Regional, during her softball career. In 2010, she had her best season – being named both NE10 Player and Pitcher of the Year, a feat accomplished by only two other players in league history – while the Chargers advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals. She is a two-time All-American, three-time All-Conference selections and four-time All-Region honoree. In two seasons of NE10 competition, she was 68-23 as a pitcher with 663 strikeouts in 590 innings. Gleason totaled 15 home runs, 58 RBI and 98 hits as a junior and senior. She becomes the first New Haven softball student-athlete to be inducted into the NE10 Hall of Fame.
