Jayson King’s tenure as head baseball coach at Franklin Pierce was one of pure dominance. King led Franklin Pierce to nine NE10 regular season championships, five NE10 Championship titles, seven NCAA Regional titles and seven trips to the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship during his 18-year tenure in Rindge – 16 of which came as an NE10 member. He was a seven-time Northeast Region Coach of the Year and a seven-time Division II Coach of the Year. In 16 seasons in the NE10, he tallied 616 wins – which currently ranks second in conference history. King led the Ravens to seven seasons with 40 or more wins, including 49 wins in 2007. He becomes the second baseball coach to be inducted into the NE10 Hall of Fame, joining Bryant’s Jon Sjogren.
