Week 13 - April 30, 2024

NE10 Player of the Week

Cade Nadeau, Southern New Hampshire
Junior | Quispamsis, New Brunswick

Nadeau went 2-0 in SNHU's 5-2 victory over Assumption on Saturday that clinched it a share of the NE10 regular season championship. Nadeau clinched the match with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Adrian Toderascu at No. 3 singles. He also clinched the doubles point with teammate Jesse Den Hartog, posting a 6-1 win at No. 1 against Yannick Heitzberg and Jakob Bordt.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Alec Pijnacker, Assumption
Freshman | Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Pijnacker recorded two wins in the Greyhounds' 4-3 win against Adelphi. He earned a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles with Adrian Toderascu before capturing the crucial winning point at No. 4 singles following a 7-6, 7-6 decision. The win clinched the first NE10 Championship appearance for the Greyhounds since 2016-17.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Caden Samkutty, Assumption (Gr. - Rockton, Ill.)
Samkutty earned two wins at No. 2 singles as the Greyhounds returned to the NE10 Championship for the first time since the 2016-17 campaign. He opened the week with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Casey Recci from Adelphi before earning a 6-2, 3-6, 10-8 win over Jesse Den Hartog of SNHU. Samkutty also earned a win at No. 2 Doubles with Luigi Bassani against SNHU on Saturday.

Max Bonte, Bentley (Sr. - Bradenton, Fla.)
Bonte won in both singles and doubles against Franklin Pierce. He won in No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-4 and in No. 1 doubles 6-0. He also played in both No. 1 matches against Queens.
