Goalkeepers Clean Up Honors During Season's Second Week

NE10 Player of the Week

Amanda Lewandowski, Saint Anselm
Senior | Forward | Franklin, Mass.


Lewandowski talled two goals and added a pair of assists on a 2-0 week for the Hawks. The senior forward registered four points in the team's victory over Maryville, tallying a goal and adding two helpers. In the Hawks 6-0 win over Pierce on Sunday, Lewandowski added her second goal of the season and 22nd of her career.


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Emily French, American Int'l
Junior | Goalkeeper | East Longmeadow, Mass.

French was fantastic in a 2-0 win over Saint Michael's College. Making her first collegiate start, she shut the door for a career-best 11 saves to earn the first victory and shutout of her career. Ten of those saves came in the second half as the Purple Knights drew eight offensive penalty corners.


NE10 Goalie of the Week

Rebecca McClure, Mercy
Junior | Canastota, N.Y.


McClure went 2-0 in goal with 13 saves, a .813 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average in two starts. The junior made seven saves with one goal allowed in Mercy's 4-1 win over D'Youville on Saturday. McClure ended the week with six saves in the Mavericks' 4-2 win over Saint Michael's in their NE10 opener.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Frederique den Hartog, American Int'l
Freshman | Goalkeeper | Oisterwijk, Netherlands


den Hartog played strong in a 1-1 week for the Yellow Jackets, helping carry AIC into overtime on consecutive days. She made 18 saves on 20 shots on goal, including a 9-for-9 performance in a 1-0 overtime win for her first collegiate victory and shutout against Southern Connecticut State.
