NE10 Player of the Week
Caitlin Wunder, Bentley
Graduate Student | Outside Hitter | Penn Yan, N.Y.
Wunder totaled 37 kills and hit .367 as the Falcons swept the Sandy Hoffman Memorial Tournament. She had a career-high 17 kills and hit .455 in a 3-1 win over New Haven to close out the weekend.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Amber Williams, New Haven
Senior | Middle Blocker | Lilburn, Ga.
A dominant middle, Williams led New Haven with 20 blocks spread across three matches last week, adding to that 21 kills and a pair of digs. Two of the three matches she finished with 5+ blocks, setting a season-high with nine in a five-set thriller against AIC and followed that up a few hours later with seven against Daemen.
NE10 Setter of the Week
Kambel Fiser, Adelphi
Senior | Setter | Seattle, Wash.
In a 3-2 week for Adelphi, Fiser contributed 9.0 assists/set while totaling 153 through 17 sets. In four of the five matches played, she notched 30 or more assists and has a staggering lead in the NE10 standings at 324. Defensively, she added 45 digs while recording two double-doubles in the week - which counted for two of the team's three victories.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Emilia Cascapera, Adelphi
Freshman | Outside Hitter | Peekskill, N.Y.
In a breakout week for Cascapera, she saw three games with double-digit kills as the Panthers went 3-2 in non-conference play. Against Shippensburg, she posted a .480 hitting percentage on the back on 13 kills with one error and set a new career-mark in kills with 16, despite a loss to West Virignia State.
