NE10 Offensive Player of the Week
Kieran Falzon, Southern Connecticut
Junior | Running Back | Hazlet, N.J.
In a stunning, come-from-behind 52-45 overtime win against Post, Falzon score four times and put an exclamation point on his incredible season with 213 yards on 23 carries for a gawdy 9.3 yards per carry, with three touchdowns, including a 74-yard jaunt and the game-winner in overtime. He scored on runs of 16, 74 and 25 yards, on the Owls' first play in overtime. He also scored on a 10-yard pass that tied the game at 45-45 and forced overtime. For Falzon, he finished the year as the NE10's leading scoring while piling up 1,227 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns – both of which also lead the NE10 - while also adding 18 catches for 84 yards. He led the NE10 with 1,366 all-purpose yards.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Tyler Lane, Bentley
Senior | Safety | Hopedale, Mass.
During senior day for the NE10 Champs, senior Tyler Lane came up with two interceptions against AIC and a recovered fumble, returned for 29 yards. The two picks were his first two picks of his career. Lane is a member of Bentley's SAAC.
NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week
Damir Stone Franklin Pierce
Sophomore | Defensive Back | East Orange, N.J.
Stone recorded one blocked kick on special teams coverage this week, run back to the house for a touchdown against Pace. He also totaled six tackles (3 solo, 3 assisted) and 0.5 tackles for loss (-2 yards) while contributing on multiple special teams units. Stone has now recorded one blocked kick and 15 passes defended this season.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Dom Santiago, Assumption
Sophomore | Quarterback | Sewell, N.J.
In his first collegiate start, Santiago went 9-for-15 passing for 258 yards and three touchdowns, while also adding two more scores on the ground. He had seven carries for 20 yards in the Greyhounds' 42-24 win at West Chester University that secured an NCAA playoff berth.
