Yellow Jackets and Falcons to Meet in NE10 Championship Rematch

AIC and Bentley to Play In NE10 Final

Bentley had three players record 11 on Friday night, as the No. 1-seeded Bentley Falcons defeated the SCSU Owls, 3-1, in the semifinals of the NE10 Volleyball Championship and their second straight NE10 Final. 

Elizabeth Blinn was one of the players with 11 kills, and she also added two services aces and five blocks. Sophia Poehlein also had 11 kills, and added two aces, three blocks, and 13 digs. 

Bentley will host American International Saturday night at 5pm in a rematch of the 2024 NE10 Final.

Paola Soto-Burgos recorded a team high nine kills and four digs to highlight No. 3-seeded AIC's 3-0 win over No. 2 Adelphi on Friday night in the semifinals of the NE10 Volleyball Championship. Janelys Perez Cortes added eight kills and four services aces for the Yellow Jackets. 

Daniella Ruso-Lolas tallied a team high 19 assists in the victory for American International, which earned the program its sixth NE10 Final appearance in seven seasons. The Yellow Jackets are going for back to back NE10 titles and fourth in five seasons. 

AIC will play the top seeded Bentley Falcons on Saturday night at 5:00 p.m. at Bentley, in a rematch of last season's NE10 Champioinship Final.
