NE10 Swimmer of the Week
Gigi Morossi, Pace
Sophomore | Milan, Italy
Morossi claims her third straight honor after swimming the 200 Back 2:04.81 in a tri-meet last week. The time ranks 22nd-best nationally. She also posted the seventh-best 100 Back in the NE10 this year and the second-best 200 Free, proving she's not simply a one-event standout.
NE10 Diver Player of the Week
Caroline Ranno, Pace
Sophomore I Mahwah, N.J.
Ranno swept both diving events to lead Pace’s diving corps and extend her undefeated dual-meet streak on the boards. Her 3-Meter performance marked a season-best. Ranno went 215 off the 3M board -- a top 40 score in the NCAA this season.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Maria Janecka, CSI
Freshman I Bydgoszcz, Poland?
Janecka broke CSI's record in the 100 Butterfly at 59.92 seconds. She was the second-leading scorer in CSI's lone meet last week, also winning the 100 Free and 200 Free. She was second as part of the 200 Medley Relay.
