Assumption's Frick Named Don Hansen Second Team All-American

Five NE10 Players Earn Honorable Mention.

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Assumption defensive lineman Tindell Frick was selected to the 2025 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America Football Team on Thursday, earning a spot on the Second Team for his standout season.

In addition to Frick, five other players from the Northeast 10 Conference earned Honorable Mention status: Assumption's Jack Driscoll, Bentley's Pat Damon and Henry Schouten, and Franklin Pierce's Geno Facchetti and Damir Stone. All six players were All-Super Region One selections by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA).

Frick was a First Team selection for both the NE10 and D2CCA Super Region One. He ranked in the Top 10 of all Division II players in sacks this season (11.0), while recording 69 tackles - including 14.0 tackles for a loss. Assumption had the second-ranked scoring defense in the NE10, allowing 23.4 points per game to opponents. Frick helped the Greyhounds reach the second round of the NCAA Division II Championship for the first time since 2017.

The Don Hansen team carries out the legacy of long-time small college football advocate Don Hansen, who passed away at age 75 on Aug. 29, 2010. Hansen, from Brookfield, Ill., started and published Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette for three decades, selecting NCAA Division II All-America teams for the first time in 1988.
