NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – U.S. News & World Report's rankings of the 2026 Best Colleges recognized each of the Northeast 10 Conference's institutions across a wide array of categories for their continued commitment to providing outstanding education, diverse opportunities and unique collegiate experiences to students.
The Conference had five institutions ranked in the Top Regional Universities – North category, as well as three recognized in the Top National Universities and two in the Top National Liberal Arts Colleges rankings. All 10 member institutions in the NE10 were mentioned on at least one list, as released by U.S. News & World Report.
"The NE10 continues to be a force in academic settings, as evident by the wide depth of recognition that its member institutions continue to receive from the U.S. News rankings," said NE10 Commissioner Julie Ruppert. "Our Conference represents the very best in higher education across a multitude of areas and these rankings prove it."
Bentley is ranked No. 1 in the Top Regional Universities – North category, as well as No. 88 in Top Business Programs. Three NE10 schools were ranked in the Top 100 of the Top Regional Universities - North list, including Bentley (No. 1), Assumption (No. 50) and Southern Connecticut (No. 64).
Adelphi, Pace and American International were listed under Top National Universities, while Saint Anselm and Saint Michael's were named among Top National Liberal Arts Colleges.

The NE10 is an association of 10 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.
Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship.
