NE10 Player of the Week

Tayeshawn Cunningham-Pemberton, Assumption
Junior | Guard | New London, Conn.

Cunningham-Pemberton led No. 22 Assumption to a pair of wins over Pace (75-64) and Southern New Hampshire (78-71), as he averaged 23.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists, while shooting 65.2 percent from the floor. He led all scorers with 24 points on 9-of-12 shooting, while adding seven rebounds, two assists, and one block in a road win at Pace. TCP had a game-high 23 points, with 19 points coming in the second half, while adding three rebounds and four steals against SNHU. 


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Edward Onyia, Saint Anselm
Freshman | Forward | Leicester, England

Onyia recorded his first career double-double to lead Saint Anselm to an 88-69 win over Saint Michael's in the NE10 opener on Wednesday. Onyia tallied career-highs of 20 points and 13 rebounds, shooting 7-10 from the field, 2-3 from deep, and 4-4 from the line with five offensive rebounds, one assist, and one block in 25 minutes off the bench.
