NE10 Player of the Week

Olivia Young, SCSU
Sophomore I UTL I Sterling, Conn.

Young has started off strong in her Owls debut batting .571 (8-for-14) with seven RBIs, five runs scored, three doubles, a home run, and a 1.000 slugging percentage.  She played in four games for SCSU last week.

NE10 Pitcher of the Week

Ashley Lewis, SCSU
Junior | Columbia, Conn.

Lewis has had a hot start to the season, recording back-to-back no-hitters for the first time in Southern Connecticut history. She is 2-0 with two no-hitters, two shutouts, 13 innings pitched, 17 strikeouts, and two walks.  She has allowed one hit in her previous four outings, dating back to last season.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Molly Green, Assumption
Freshman | C I West Greenwich, R.I.

In eight games in Florida last week, Green batted .450 with nine hits, three RBI, and two runs scored. Defensively, she caught four runners trying to steal behind the plate for Assumption.
