General 4/15/2025 12:00:00 PM Alexander, McClure Named CSC Academic All-Americans Alexander Earned NE10 and East Region Player of the Year MANSFIELD, Mass. - The Northeast-10 Conference had two men's basketball players named as Academic All-Americans by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday for their excellence on the court and in the classroom. Pace's Tray Alexander, the NE10 and East Region Player of the Year, was selected as a Second Team Academic All-American with a 3.54 (undergraduate) and 4.0 (graduate) GPA in Data Science. Alexander adds to his pile of honors for the 2024-25 season, which included a pair of All-America nods from the D2CCA and NABC. He led Pace to its first NE10 Championship final in program history, while ranking second among all Division II players in assists (8.7) and steals (2.9) per game. Bentley's Cash McClure earned a spot as a Third Team Academic All-American with a 3.93 GPA as a Finance major. McClure, a D2CCA First Team All-Region selection, averaged 16.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game this season - ranking in the Top 10 in all three categories among NE10 players. He helped the Falcons to a 14-6 record in conference play. Three of the 15 members of the Academic All-America Division II men's basketball teams posted a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate work or graduate school. The members of all teams hold a collective average undergraduate GPA of 3.81. The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II Academic All-America® program.
