NE10 Releases Academic All-Conference Recipients for Spring Season

Adelphi with League-High 23 Student-Athletes Honored.

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – On Monday morning, the Northeast 10 Conference announced its Academic All-Conference teams for the 2025 spring season, as the league recognized 109 student-athletes from 10 sports for their excellence in both academic and athletic settings. 

To be eligible for selection to NE10 Academic All-Conference teams, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded the following minimum requirements:

  • Started in at least half or played in at least two-thirds of the team's competitions as a significant contributor.
  • Achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) or better on a 4.0 scale.

All NE10 institutions had at least one student-athlete selected to the Academic All-Conference teams. For a full list of honorees, please CLICK HERE.

Adelphi had a league-high 23 selections, while Bentley was second with 20 honorees. Four different NE10 institutions had a double-digit number of selections, including Franklin Pierce and New Haven with 13 each. 

Among the 109 student-athletes, 44 of them are being honored for the second time and 17 are being recognized as Academic All-Conference for at least the third time in their career - including NE10 Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year Sebastian Simonson (Saint Michael's men's lacrosse) and NE10 Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year Caitlin Burmester (Bentley women's outdoor track & field). 

The NE10 had eight Player of the Year winners on the Academic All-Conference teams, including four-time winner Franklin Pierce's Kesinee Prukmathakul (women's golf) and three-time recipient Adelphi's Marko Jovanovic (men's tennis).
