Forkner Tosses Three TD Passes in Win.

NE10 Offensive Player of the Week

Drew Forkner, Saint Anselm
Junior | Quarterback | Plano, Texas

 

Forkner helped lead Saint Anselm to a 34-10 non-conference road win at Pace to start the 2025 season. He was 14-of-19 passing for 162 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 12 carries for 53 yards - netting 215 total yards in the victory. Forkner averaged 11.6 yards per completion and threw touchdown passes to three different receivers. 


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Imeer Johnson, Post
Graduate Student | Linebacker | Neptune, N.J.

 

Johnson led Post defensively in its first game of the season against West Virginia Wesleyan as part of a 51-14 win. Johnson had a team-high nine tackles, two of which were tackles for loss totaling nine yards, a seven-yard sack, one interception, and a pass breakup. The Eagles' defense caused five turnovers in the victory.


NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week

Jhamier Howard, Pace
Junior | Running Back | Toms River, N.J.

 

Howard made a statement in Pace's opening kickoff of the 2025 season. The junior found an opening down the right sideline and ran back a 95-yard kickoff for a touchdown against Saint Anselm. In the contest, Howard accumulated 150 total return yards on the kickoff in three attempts (50.0 yards per return). 


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Jazaire Aurelus, Post
Freshman | Defensive Back | Jersey City, N.J.

 

Aurelus started his collegiate career off in a big way for Post - recording five tackles, including two tackles for loss totaling up 13 yards, a 10-yard sack, and one of the five interceptions that the Eagles' defense forced in their 51-14 win over West Virginia Wesleyan in season-opener on Saturday.
