Hiraldo Dominates in Post's Win.

NE10 Offensive Player of the Week

Tyler Phommachanh, Post
Junior | Quarterback | Stratford, Conn.

Phommachanh helped lead Post to its first 2-0 start in program history, 39-30, completing 5-of-6 passes in the air for 58 yards while rushing 12 times on the ground for 92 yards and three touchdowns. Phommachanh gave the Eagles the lead for good against Southern Connecticut with his 39-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter with 6:28 to go, capping off his big day. 


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Will Gomes, Franklin Pierce
Sophomore | Linebacker | Berlin, Conn.

Gomes recorded two interceptions for six return yards in Franklin Pierce’s 30-6 win over Pace. He also added half a sack and anchored a defense that totaled six interceptions, six sacks and allowed just 190 total yards with no offensive touchdowns.


NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week

Israel Hiraldo, Post
Freshman | Wide Receiver | Providence, R.I.

Hiraldo recorded the third-most all-purpose yards for a single game in program history for Post, going off for 255 yards against Southern Connecticut this week. Helping lead Post to their first 2-0 start in program history, Hiraldo ran back-to-back kickoff returns for touchdowns, with one going for 80 yards and the other for 84 yards in the third quarter, while also having 75 receiving yards on six receptions. He was named the  New England Football Writers Association Gold Helmet Award winner for Week 3, becoming only the second Post player in program history to earn the honor.
