NE10 Women's Tennis Report: Week 3

Adelphi Sweeps Weekly Honors.

NE10 Player of the Week

Roisin Boyd, Adelphi
Junior | Leicester, United Kingdom


Boyd partnered with Katarina Liedbeck to win the ITA East Region Doubles Championship, going a perfect 5-0 and capping it off with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over the Queens (NY) team of Sixtine Goubet and Lilie Bizouerne. It is the second doubles title for Boyd and Liedbeck in three years. In singles, Boyd advanced to the quarterfinal round with a 3-1 record - one of three NE10 players to reach the quarterfinal round. 


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Oda Solevag Halvorsen, Adelphi
Freshman | Oslo, Norway

Solevag Halvorsen went 3-2 overall at the ITA East Region Championship, advancing to the Round of 16 in both singles and doubles. She was 2-1 in singles as the No. 11 ranked player, with wins over Allycia Santa Cruz of Queens (NY) and Laura Kotala of Post. In doubles, she partnered with Zuzanna Witkowska for a victory over Saint Anselm's Irene Garbo and Natalia Gonzalez.
