NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Northeast 10 Conference announced that an impressive 71% of its overall student-athlete body has been named to the Academic Honor Roll, as the data from the 2025 fall semester was announced by the league office on Friday morning.
It is the second straight semester that NE10 institutions hit the 71% mark.
Among its 10 full member and eight associate member institutions, the Conference recognized 3,655 student-athletes for their academic achievements. The Academic Honor Roll (AHR) acknowledges the commitment of NE10 student-athletes to excel in the classroom with three designations: Academic Excellence (4.0 GPA), Academic Distinction (3.50-3.99 GPA) and Academic Honors (3.00-3.49).
Each NE10 full member institution had at least 50% of their student-athletes earn Honor Roll status. Five institutions reached 70% or higher, while nine had at least 60% of their student-athletes recognized.
Bentley had a league-high 85.6% of its student-athletes named to the Honor Roll, while Southern New Hampshire ranked second at 82.2% and Adelphi was third at 81.1%. Pace (76.4%) and Franklin Pierce (69.9%) rounded-out the top five.
Among the 3,655 student-athletes honored, there were 474 that fell in the Academic Excellence category by earning a perfect 4.0 grade-point average (GPA) in the fall semester. Southern New Hampshire led all institutions with 64 student-athletes that earned a 4.0 GPA.
Bentley had the highest number of total honorees with 468, while Assumption was second (401) and Pace was third (388). Football had a league-high 459 athletes recognized, while women's soccer led all female sports with 277.
The NE10 had nine sports produce 200 or more student-athletes with a minimum 3.0 GPA in the fall semester. Seven institutions saw percentage increases compared to the 2024 fall semester, as Southern New Hampshire led the way with a 12-point improvement.
