NE10 NOW The Podcast: Assumption Soccer's Cody Holbert

The NE10's leading soccer scorer is having a standout senior season

Assumption men's soccer was picked 10 of 10 teams in the conference preseason. The Hounds just scored a draw with No. 5 SNHU and the goal ... scored by Cody Holbert.

Holbert has 10 goals as of this posting -- most in the NE10 and a career high by far. The senior is back after an ankle injury cost him most of 2025 and playing his best soccer in college.

In this episode Holbert talks about his performance, getting back into shape after being hurt, who he looks up to on the pitch, what it takes to score as a striker, how he takes PKs, what he wants to do post-college and more.

NE10 NOW: The Podcast chats regularly with student-athletes across the Northeast 10 about their success on and off the field, giving fans a chance to get to know the people behind the jersey numbers, stats and starting lineups.  New episodes drop on YouTube, featured on NE10 social media channels and on Northeast10.org.
