NE10 NOW The Podcast: Saint Michael's Soccer's Chloe Laizer

The 2025 NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year has Saint Mike's Unbeaten this Fall

In 2025 Saint Michael's was one step shy of the ultimate historic season.  The Purple Knights narrowly missed a trip to the NCAA Championship.  This fall Saint Mike's wants to leave no doubt.  The Colchester crew is undefeated and ranked in the United Soccer Top 25.  Goalkeeper Chloe Laizer is doing her part, stopping better than 90% of shots she sees.

Laizer, the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year as a rookie last fall, stops by the podcast to chat about the program's recent success, why the Knights are a hard team to beat, what she shes when she stands in the goal, how she came to be a goalie, what motivates the Purple Knights and more ... including the science of goalie jerseys?

NE10 NOW: The Podcast chats regularly with student-athletes across the Northeast 10 about their success on and off the field, giving fans a chance to get to know the people behind the jersey numbers, stats and starting lineups.  New episodes drop on YouTube, featured on NE10 social media channels and on Northeast10.org.

ABOUT THE NE10
The NE10 is an association of 10 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.

Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship. Leading the way in the classroom, on the field and within the community, the NE10 is proud of its comprehensive program and the experience it provides student-athletes.

Fans can subscribe via this link to follow NE10 NOW on FloSports this season.  The partnership between the NE10 and FloSports works to provide funds back to the athletic departments of the Northeast 10 Conference in support of student-athletes while promoting the league on a national platform.
