NE10 Player of the Week
Maddie Schubert, Pace
Senior | Attacker | Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.
Schubert delivered a standout performance in the Setters’ season-opening 10–9 overtime win against No. 16 Dominican on Wednesday. Schubert finished with a game-high four points, scoring three goals including the game-winner in overtime and adding one assist. She also recorded two ground balls and caused a turnover to help Pace start the year 1–0.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Sonny Lionetti, Adelphi
Senior | Defender | Point Lookout, N.Y.
Lionetti averaged 2.5 caused turnovers per game and 3.0 ground balls per contest, despite an 0-2 week against Top 25 teams. Against #10 Lynn, she caused four turnovers and scooped a team-leading five ground balls while pulling in four draw control wins.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Elsa Branco, Pace
Sophomore | Goaltender | Brightwaters, N.Y.
Branco made a strong season debut in the Setters’ 10–9 overtime victory against Dominican. She played all 60 minutes in net, tallying nine saves while facing 16 shots on goal. Branco’s clutch performance included key second-half stops that helped Pace stay within striking distance before pulling out the win in overtime.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Kendall Herrick, Saint Anselm
Freshman | Attacker | Medfield, Mass.
In her first collegiate game, Herrick recorded a hat trick and one assist to finish with four points, helping the Hawks defeat Roberts Wesleyan, 14-4. She scored her three goals with just three shots on goal, and added two draw controls and one ground ball.
