NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Bentley leads all Presidents Cup standings in the Northeast 10 Conference following the winter season, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Bentley earned 37.0 points in the winter - 70% of its maximum point total - to lead all institutions with 100.5 cumulative points for the Presidents Cup. The Falcons won the women's basketball regular season title for the third straight year, one of four top-three finishes for Bentley this winter. It nearly doubled its previous six-point lead in the overall Presidents Cup standings following the fall season.
Adelphi, the two-time reigning Presidents Cup champion, is second following the winter season with 88.5 cumulative points, while Southern Connecticut is third with 86.0 points. Southern Connecticut recorded a league-best 79% of its maximum winter points after championship titles in women's swimming & diving, as well as both men's and women's indoor track & field.
The NE10 Presidents Cup is presented annually at the conclusion of the academic year, signifying overall athletic excellence in the league. The honor is awarded to the institution that compiles the most cumulative points based on finishes in the regular season standings from all of its programs competing in league championships.
In the Founders Cup (men's sports), Bentley leads NE10 institutions with 42.5 points, while Adelphi is second (38.5 points) and Assumption is third (38.0 points). Adelphi and Assumption tied for a league-high 19.5 points in the winter, as both jumped three places in the standings.
In the Pioneers Cup (women's sports), Bentley leads with 58.0 points, while Southern Connecticut (50.5) and Adelphi (50.5) are within striking distance. Southern Connecticut gained ground after a 26-point winter - which is a remarkable 96% of its maximum point total - following championship titles in swimming & diving and indoor track & field, as well as a runner-up finish in basketball.
Adelphi won both the Presidents Cup and Founders Cup in 2024-25, while Bentley won the Pioneers Cup.
