Foppiano, Meehan Keep Adelphi Undefeated in NE10 Play

NE10 Player of the Week

Julia Foppiano, Adelphi
Junior | Attacker | North Massapequa, N.Y.

Foppiano was Adelphi's point leader in a 2-0 week for the No. 13 women's lacrosse program. She finished with 12 overall points (five goals, seven assists) in wins over Saint Anselm and Assumption. The junior scored four times and added a trio of helpers against the Hawks before putting up five more points (courtesy of a goal and four assists) against the Greyhounds. She assisted on two of the goals scored in the fourth quarter while Adelphi held Assumption scoreless. 


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Rory Meehan, Adelphi
Sophomore | Midfielder | Williston Park, N.Y.

Meehan was a force on the field last week, collecting seven caused turnovers and five ground balls in No. 13 Adelphi's pair of wins. The sophomore midfielder also won a team-leading four draw controls against Assumption. One of her four caused turnovers came in the second half when the Panthers held the Greyhounds scoreless over 30 minutes. 


NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Camryn Smith, Pace
Freshman | Goalkeeper | Crownsville, Md.

Smith went 2–0 in goal, making 18 saves across two wins for the Setters. The freshman goalkeeper recorded 11 saves in Pace’s 8–6 victory over Mercy before adding seven saves in a 16–8 win over Southern Connecticut State. Overall, Smith limited opponents to single-digit scoring in both starts, posting a 55.7% save percentage. 


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Kendall Herrick, Saint Anselm
Freshman | Midfielder | Medfield, Mass.

The freshman had a stellar week as the Hawks went 1-1. In Tuesday's loss against No. 13 Adelphi, Herrick posted four goals, a career-high. In Saturday's win over D'Youville, she recorded her second consecutive four-point game, scoring a hat trick and adding one assist.
