NE10 Announces Year-End Golf Awards

Lanuza, Gonzalez Named Players of the Year

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Bentley's Isabel Gonzalez becomes just the second rookie to claim Northeast 10 Women's Golf Player of the Year and Adelphi's Francis Lanuza is the fourth Adelphi Panther to be named Men's Golfer of the Year, following rookie Mitchell Archer in 2025.  The duo headlines the NE10 all-conference announcements, announced by the league on Wednesday.

Awards and all-conference teams were determined by results on the course and ultimately, player ratings and rankings from Clipp'd, the official leaderboard utilized by the NCAA in rankings and postseason selections.

Gonzalez brings major hardware to Waltham just a year after the program started.  The freshman fills a void left by the graduation of four-time Player of the Year Kesinee Prukmathakul from Franklin Pierce.  Gonzalez was also named Rookie of the Year, joining Prukmathakul as the only student-athletes in NE10 women's golf to accomplish the feat.

On the men's side, Lanuza's teammate, Zeus Sara, is the men's Rookie of the Year.  The Filipino freshman follows Archer as Rookie of the Year and gives Adelphi its third winner of the honor.  Sara came to AU as the 2024 Philippine amateur Champion.

Complete all-conference teams are listed below.  There are three men's all-conference teams and two women's all-conference teams based on the number of programs that compete in the NE10.
