NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – On Tuesday afternoon, the Northeast 10 Conference released its Academic All-Conference teams for the 2026 spring season, as the league recognized 180 student-athletes from 10 sports for their academic and athletic excellence.

Women's Outdoor Track and Field was the most recognized sport in the spring season, accounting for 32 of the 179 NE10 selections (18%).  Adelphi was the most recognized school of the season, with 42 student-athletes across the ten sports being named to the Academic All-Conference rolls, including at least one in every sport.  AU was the only NE10 institution to have a student-athlete from all 10 spring sports on the squads.

Among notable Academic All-Conference honorees are nine players of the year across the league.  Rose Reitmeyer (Saint Anselm) and Julianna Colbert (SNHU) were the softball Co-Player and Pitcher of the Year; Katarina Liedbeck and Louca Bertone (Adelphi) were the league's Vern Cox Players of the Year in tennis; Courtney Henchcliffe (SCSU) was the Outdoor Track and Field Track Athlete of the Year; Alex Leggio and Sonny Lionetti (Adelphi) were the NE10 women's lacrosse Attack and Defensive Players of the Year and Kyle Lewis (Adelphi) was the men's lacrosse Player of the Year.

To be eligible for selection to NE10 Academic All-Conference teams, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded the following minimum requirements:

• Named to sport All-Conference team (First, Second, Third or Defensive). 
• Must have spent at least two consecutive full-time semesters at the institution (not including the last semester completed)
• Must have minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 (for both undergrad and grad).
