Bentley's Rashon Bradford Named NE10 MVP, as Football Awards Announced

New Haven Wins Three Major Awards

MANSFIELD, Mass. - Bentley's Rashon Bradford, the Northeast-10 Conference leader in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns, has been named Most Valuable Player, as the league office announced its All-Conference awards for football on Thursday afternoon. He is the second-straight Bentley player to earn the honor.

Bradford follows Bentley's Salvatore Lupoli, Jr., who was voted NE10 Most Valuable Player in the 2023 season. Bradford, a 5-9 wide receiver, eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in 2024, recording 1,007 yards on 74 receptions (13.6 yards/catch) with 13 touchdowns. He ranked in the top 5 nationally in receptions per game (7.4) and receiving touchdowns, while ranking in the top 15 in receiving yards.

Among seven major award winners, New Haven - the two-time reigning NE10 champion - had three of them in Justin Cesaire as Offensive Lineman of the Year, Jack Quander as Defensive Lineman of the Year and Chris Pincince as Coach of the Year.

Cesaire cleared the way for New Haven's rushing attack, which ranked 10th in Division II with 238.1 yards per game. Quander was recognized for the second-straight season, racking up 6.5 sacks for the NE10's top scoring defense (15.9 points per game). Pincince led New Haven to its second-straight NE10 title and third in the past four seasons with a 7-1 record in conference play and 8-2 overall. The Chargers qualified for the NCAA Division II Championship for the fourth-straight season.

Franklin Pierce quarterback Adrian Parker was named Offensive Player of the Year after leading the NE10 in completions (242), passing attempts (391), passing yards (2,888), passing yards per game (288.8) and passing efficiency (138.9). Parker ranks in the top 5 nationally in completions per game (24.2). He threw for 22 touchdowns and only seven interceptions, while completing 61.9% of his passes.

Assumption defensive back Dion Kuinlan was selected as Defensive Player of the Year after posting a staggering 97 tackles (9.7/game) from his position, which ranked second in the NE10 and in the top 20 among all of Division II. He also collected four tackles for a loss, two interceptions and three pass break-ups for the Greyhounds, who allowed just 16.8 points per game to opponents.

American International's Connor Dietz earned Rookie of the Year honors - the second player from the Yellow Jackets to win the award in the past three seasons (Dahvey Hicks in 2022). Dietz, a backup quarterback, played in six games and threw for 478 yards and rushed for 378 yards - accounting for nine total touchdowns.

New Haven led all NE10 programs with 15 All-Conference selections, while Bentley was second with 11 and Assumption was third with nine. New Haven also had the most First Team selections with nine.
