Christis Hot Streak Earns Her Second Straight Award

Week 4 - September 30, 2024


NE10 Player of the Week

Annemartine Christis, SNHU
Senior | Midfielder | 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands


One of the hottest players, and leading scorers, in the nation, Christis has now scored a brace in five straight games and six of seven this season.  Christis racked up 13 points in three games last week, helping the No. 7 Penmen go 3-0 on the road.  She also assisted on a goal and has now scored or assisted 13 of SNHU's 21 goals this season.
 


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Fenna Voll, American Int'l
Sophomore | Back | Zwijndrecht, Netherlands?


Voll was a force on both ends of the field in a 2-0 week for AIC in NE10 action. She assisted on three goals, including the overtime game winner against STAC, while recording a defensive save in both contests.?


NE10 Goalie of the Week

Rebecca McClure, Mercy
Junior | Canastota, N.Y.


McClure was strong in goal for the Mavericks, going 1-1 with 17 saves, a .895 save percentage, 1.00 goals-against average and one shutout in two games this week. The junior opened the week with two saves to earn the shutout win over Molloy on Wednesday. McClure ended the week with a career-high 15 saves in the Mavericks' 2-1 loss at No. 6 Assumption on Saturday.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Kayla Balsamo, Molloy 
Freshman | Goalkeeper | East Brunswick, N.J


Balsamo made her first two career starts, putting up double digit saves in both contests. The freshman averaged 12.5 saves per game on the week, putting up 12 against Mercy, allowing just two goals, before adding 13 stops against Saint Michael's.?
