NE10 Player of the Week

Courtney Henchcliffe, SCSU
Sophomore  | Newtown, Conn.

To begin the Owls’ NE10 Championship defense, Courtney Henchcliffe finished in a tie for 15th out of 86 runners at the Shawn Nassaney Cross Country Invitational hosted by Bryant University. Henchcliffe, a sophomore from Newtown, Connecticut, posted a time of 19:30.6, tied with her teammate Briana Grecco. The pair led Southern Connecticut to a sixth-place finish.
 

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Erin Sola, Southern Connecticut State
Freshman | Meriden, Conn.

In her Owls debut, Erin Sola finished 48th at the Shawn Nassaney Cross Country Invitational at Bryant University. The freshman from Meriden, Connecticut posted a time of 20:52.2, helping the defending NE10 and NCAA East Region champions to a sixth-place finish.
