NE10 Player of the Week

Michele Elia, Assumption
Sophomore | Frankfurt, Germany

Elia went undefeated on the week, as he led Assumption to two key NE10 wins to improve to 4-0 on the year, and 3-0 in league action. On Wednesday, he picked up a win at No. 1 doubles with Igor Kubalka at Southern New Hampshire (6-4), before winning at No. 2 singles (6-3, 4-6, 6-4). Elia capped off the week with a 6-4 at top-flight doubles, before cruising to a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles against Saint Michael's. The win over SNHU is the Greyhounds' first win in Manchester since 2015. 

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Kristoffer Podenphant, Assumption
Freshman | Frederiksberg, Denmark

Podenphant went 3-0 on the week, as Assumption remains undefeated. He opened the week with a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles against Endicott on Thursday, before winning at No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-2. Podenphant capped off the week with a 6-2, 1-6, 10-6 win at No. 6 singles to help the Greyhounds win 6-1 against Saint Michael's on Saturday.
