Nwachukwu posted 30.0 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contests, while hitting on 70 percent (21-30) of his shots from the field, including 62.5 percent (5-8) from beyond the arc, and 81.3 percent (13-16) from the stripe, during a 2-0 week for SNHU. Nwachukwu recorded 27 points (9-13 FG, 4-6 3-FG, 5-6), 16 rebounds and three assists in Wednesday's 79-73 triumph over Bentley, before erupting for 33 points (12-17 FG, 1-2 3-FG, 8-10 FT) and 11 boards in a 111-82 victory against Molloy on Sunday.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Quintin Floyd, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Guard | Windsor, Conn.
Floyd averaged 14.5 points on 47.8% shooting with 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals during a 1-1 week. In a 65-63 win against Bowie State on Saturday, he capped his first college start with the go-ahead three-point play in the closing seconds. He added two rebounds, two assists and a steal. During an 85-78 overtime loss at Saint Anselm on Wednesday, Floyd had 14 points, six rebounds, three offensive boards, three assists and two steals.
