NE10 Track Athlete of the Week
Patrice Mansfield, SCSU
Senior I Wallingford, Conn.
Mansfield repeats this honor from a week ago. She won the 55M Hurdles at SCSU's Art Kadish Elm City Challenge in 8.01 seconds. The time was a personal best, meet record and school record. Her time ranks first in the NE10 this season.
NE10 Field Athlete of the Week
Belle Smith, SCSU
Junior I Torrington, Conn.
Smith repeats this honor from a week ago. She competed in both the shot and weight throw at the Art Kadish Elm City Challenge. Her 13.70 shot put is a meet record and her 16.72 M toss of the weight throw is a personal record and the best in the NE10 this year. Her throws were 21st and 33rd in the NCAA this season.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Lindy Moreland, SNHU
Freshman I Gorham, Maine
Moreland posted a multis score of 2618 - the best in the NE10 this season. This was Moreland's first pentathlon competition, finishing as the top SNHU and NE10 athlete at the Dartmouth meet. Moreland was the top DII finisher, beating one DI athlete in the process. She finished fifth overall.
