Men's Basketball 3/9/2025 11:25:22 PM Four NE10 Programs Qualify for the Division II Men's Basketball East Regional Three of Top Four Seeds are NE10 Teams MANSFIELD, Mass. - The Northeast-10 Conference represents half of the field in the Division II Men's Basketball East Regional, as announced by the NCAA Selection Show on Sunday night. Four NE10 programs - Adelphi, Southern New Hampshire, Pace and Assumption - qualified for the regional and will travel to the Buffalo area this weekend as top-seeded Daemen earned hosting rights. The NE10 grabbed three of the top four seeds in the regional, behind only Daemen, which is currently the No. 1-ranked team in all of Division II. Adelphi, the NE10 regular season champion, and Southern New Hampshire, the two-time reigning NE10 tournament champion, earned the No. 2 and 3 seeds, respectively. Pace, the NE10 Championship finalist, was named the No. 4 seed and Assumption is the No. 6 seed. This is the third time in the past four seasons that the NE10 produced at least four teams in the East Regional. For Adelphi, it is the first time since 2012 that the Panthers have qualified for the East Regional. For Assumption, it is the first time since 2013. Both Pace and Southern New Hampshire have qualified over the past two seasons. The East Regional dates are March 15, 16 and 18 at the Lumsden Gymnasium. The first round will consist of one all-NE10 matchup, as Southern New Hampshire plays Assumption. Pace will take on St. Thomas Aquinas, while Adelphi meets Dominican (N.Y.). The Division II Tournament consists of 64 teams at eight regional sites. The NCAA Elite Eight will be played at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind., from March 25-29.
