NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - The Northeast 10 (NE10) announced a title partnership with Visit Central Florida Monday, marking it as the official sponsor for the upcoming men's and women's basketball conference championships. For the first time ever, both championship finals will appear on linear television – putting the NE10 on networks that reach more than 15 million homes across the northeast.
The championships will be known this winter as the "NE10 Men's & Women's Basketball Championships, presented by Visit Central Florida."
All rounds of the NE10 Championship will stream, as normal, on FloCollege – the official streaming partner of the conference. The championship games themselves, however, will additionally be available on linear TV for cable subscribers. SportsNet New York (SNY) -- the TV home of the New York Mets, NESN -- the TV home of the Boston Red Sox, and NBC Sports Philadelphia+ -- the TV home of the Philadelphia Phillies, 76ers and Flyers, will all carry championship coverage. The games are set for 1 p.m. tip times on March 7th and 8th, respectively.
All games of the NE10 Men's & Women's Basketball Championships, presented by Visit Central Florida, will stream on FloCollege worldwide.
"We are extremely pleased to welcome Visit Central Florida as the first title sponsor in NE10 basketball championship history," said NE10 commissioner Julie Ruppert. "Their support enhances the visibility of our championships and provides an outstanding platform to highlight the elite level of competition in our league, while also strengthening our ability to support our member institutions and student-athletes."
