Men's and Women's Basketball Places 26 on CSC Academic All-District Teams

Six Players Advancing to Academic All-America Ballot

MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference had eight men's basketball players and 18 women's basketball players - 26 student-athletes overall - named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District teams on Tuesday.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District teams are selected by CSC and recognize the nation's top student-athletes across the NCAA and NAIA for their combined performances on the playing field and in the classroom.

Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. The NE10 had six players - two from the men's side and four from the women's side - advance to the national ballot.

The Academic All-America teams will be announced on April 15 (men) and April 16 (women).

Bentley had a league-high three selections on the men's side, including Cash McClure who advanced to the Academic All-America ballot. Joining him on the ballot was Pace's Tray Alexander, who was recognized with All-America honors earlier this week by both the D2CCA and NABC.

Pace and Southern Connecticut both had four players named Academic All-District. Adelphi's Kaitlyn O'Connell, Bentley's Maggie Whitmore, Franklin Pierce's Colette Mulderig and Southern Connecticut's Katie Williamson all advanced to the Academic All-America ballot.
