NE10 Earns 16 Men's Lax All-Americans, Dominates Major Awards

Adelphi Keeper Renner Named National Player of the Year

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - The Northeast 10 Conferecne racked up a whopping 16 All-America nods, announced by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association, on Wednesday.  The 16 are the most awarded to any single conference across Division II.  The Adelphi Panthers cleaned up when it come to the organization's major national awards, including Dylan Renner repeated as the nation's Most Outstanding Player.

Renner, who was named USILA's Most Outstanding Player and Most Outstanding Goalie last season, repeated on the former award posting a career-best 7.01 Goals Against Average this spring.  Renner enters the NCAA Championship 19-1, also a career-best.

Leading the nation with 107 points, AU's offensive triggerman Braden Donnellan was named Most Outstanding Attackman.  With 35 goals and 35 assists this spring, Kyle Lewis was named Most Outstanding Midfielder.  Last season for American International College he broke the NCAA record for caused turnovers in a single-season, this year Adelphi's Ries Bower was named USILA's Defensive Player of the Year.  Finally, the conference also earned Long Pole Midfielder of the Year with AIC's Carter Linkletter earning his position's highest national honor.

Beyond the major awards, the NE10 also led the country in All-America selections.  the league's five major award winners all landed on the All-America First Team.  Ten further NE10 student-athletes appeared on the Second and Third Teams, led by five Panthers, two members of the St. Anselm Hawks and Pace Setters and one name each from Saint Michael's and Assumption.

The conference picked up an additional nine All-America Honorable Mention selections.  The full list on NE10 honorees is detailed below.
