NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Adelphi highlighted the Northeast 10 Conference's release of its Team Academic Excellence Award winners for the 2024-25 season, recognizing the NE10 programs with the highest team GPA in each sport. The announcement was made by the league office on Wednesday morning. 

A remarkable 186 of 225 NE10 programs, or 82.67%, earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the past year. Three schools - Adelphi, Bentley and Pace - had all of their teams over a 3.0 GPA. In total, 22 sports are honored, with indoor and outdoor track & field combined. The NE10 sponsors 24 sports overall.

The NE10's full membership posted an overall GPA of 3.245 for the 2024-25 season. All 11 of the full member institutions had a student-athlete GPA for the year of 3.0 or better. 

Overall, there were 135 teams that achieved a 3.3 GPA or higher, while 55 teams posted a 3.5 GPA or better. 

Five different institutions had multiple teams honored, including Adelphi which earned a league-high seven selections for the Team Academic Excellence Award. American International and Bentley both had three teams honored, while New Haven and Pace each had two. 

Adelphi women's tennis had the single-highest GPA of all NE10 teams with a 3.837. Among all honorees were two NE10 champions in Adelphi men's tennis and Pace baseball.
