This Week's Athletic Solutions Faces in the Crowd

Top Performances You Need to Know Across the NE10

10443
Each week during the academic year, the NE10 honors Athletes of the Week for all of its 24 sponsored sports while they are in season. Faces in the Crowd shines a spotlight on outstanding on-field performances that didn't earn Athlete of the Week recognition, while also highlighting academic or community efforts from student-athletes across the league.

Faces in the Crowd is presented by Athletic Solutions, a national leader in NIL fan engagement and e-commerce technology, collaborating with colleges and universities to bring NIL Locker Rooms to life. Their platform simplifies NIL opportunities, providing student-athletes with the tools and exposure needed to thrive in the evolving landscape of college athletics.

Below are this week's NE10 Faces in the Crowd.

Faces in the Crowd

Top performances you need to know across the NE10

Megan MONGELLI

Saint Michael's  Swimming & Diving  Rockville, Md.

Mongelli won all four of her events on Saturday, becoming the first Purple Knight woman in nearly 36 years to claim a diving event and an individual swimming race at the same meet. During the Purple and Gold's 202-67 win at Keene State, Mongelli captured the 50 freestyle (26.38), took the one-meter diving (153.23), and anchored the top 200 medley relay (2:01.94) and 400 freestyle relay (3:58.23).

Puck WANDERS

Franklin Pierce Field Hockey  Doorn, NL

Wanders assisted on the game-tying goal with mere seconds remaining in regulation against AIC.  The shot came off a penalty corner where Wander struck from the top of the circle.  She then scored one of two goals for the Ravens in a shootout against the Yellow Jackets, leading to a 4-3 bonus time win.

Evan FLETCHER

Assumption  Soccer  Milford, Conn.

Fletcher scored in the final minute for the Greyhounds, breaking a tie against defending NE10 champion Bentley and deliver the Hounds a key win down the stretch.  Assumption is fighting for the seventh and final playoff spot in the league tournament.

Agustin SOLDO

Adelphi   Soccer  Valencia, ESP.

Soldo scored on a free kick against the No. 5 team in the country, giving Adelphi a massive win over SNHU in the final minutes.  The game came on a day where Adelphi swept the Penmen in men's and women's soccer and field hockey over homecoming weekend.

Parker WOODRING

Bentley   Football   Wilton, Conn.

The Cornell transfer had one of the best offensive days in the NE10 this past weekend, finding the endzone three times against Saint Anselm.  He hauled in career-bests with seven receptions and 83 yards, adding another big weapon to the Falcon attack.  His longest grab went for 17 yards.

ABOUT THE NE10
The NE10 is an association of 10 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.

Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship. Leading the way in the classroom, on the field and within the community, the NE10 is proud of its comprehensive program and the experience it provides student-athletes.
