NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Bentley's Rashon Bradford, the reigning Northeast 10 Conference Most Valuable Player, was named to the D2Football.com Elite 100 Watch List earlier this month - earning a First Team selection at the wide receiver position. The D2Football.com Elite 100 Watch List was selected by the staff of D2Football.com with the input of numerous sitting head coaches as well as professional football scouting veteran Josh Buchanan. The players listed represent the official watch list for the D2Football.com 2025 Elite 100 Team, which will be announced at the conclusion of the season. Bradford is coming off a sensational season where he led all NE10 players in receptions (74), receiving yards (1,007), receiving touchdowns (13) and average receiving yards per game (100.7). He had four games with more than 100 receiving yards, including a memorable performance against New Haven where he tallied seven catches for 197 yards and three touchdowns. He was selected to the D2CCA All-Super Region 1 First Team and followed it with Don Hansen Honorable Mention All-America recognition. Henry Schouten, Bradford's teammate, was named to the D2Football.com Squad Defensive Team - equivalent to an honorable mention selection. Schouten is a linebacker who ranked second in the NE10 last season in total tackles (103), third in sacks (5.5) and first in tackles for a loss (13.5). He earned a spot on the All-Conference First Team following the 2024 season. Led by Bradford and Schouten, Bentley was recently ranked first in the NE10 Football Coaches' Poll, as it prepares for its season-opener at home against West Chester on Saturday, September 6. NE10 football begins this Saturday, August 30, as Post hosts West Virginia Wesleyan at 1 p.m. and Saint Anselm travels to play Pace at 5 p.m. in non-conference action.
