NE10 Player of the Week
Ciara Collins, Pace
Senior | Forward | Bristol, Conn.
Collins had a milestone week for Pace, averaging 25.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists across a pair of Northeast 10 contests. The senior erupted for 28 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals in a road win at Adelphi, becoming the 31st player in program history to reach 1,000 career points. She followed it up with another standout performance against Saint Michael’s, recording 23 points, eight boards, five assists, and a block.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Tish Blackwood, Southern Connecticut
Freshman | Forward | Falmouth, Mass.
Blackwood recorded two double doubles in a 2-0 week for the Owls. In a 54-44 victory over Assumption, Blackwood had 10 points and a team-best of 10 boards. In a 70-39 victory over American International, she recorded 18 points, as she was 7-for-11 from the floor and had a team-best of five assists. In addition, she was dominant in the paint as she grabbed 22 boards and is tied with Jackie Beathea for the third-most rebounds in a single game in program history. Her 22 rebounds are the most rebounds recorded in a single game in the NE10 this season.
