Forbes averaged 25.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game in a 1-1 week for Saint Anselm. She scored a game-high 30 points on 13-of-23 shooting in a loss to nationally-ranked Bentley, before stuffing the stat sheet with 21 points, eight rebounds and nine assists - a near triple-double - in a road win at Pace. She added a pair of steals in both games.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Tish Blackwood, Southern Connecticut
Freshman | Forward | Falmouth, Mass.
Blackwood recorded a career-best of 26 points, as she was 11-for-20 from the floor, 4-for-4 from the free-throw line, grabbed a team-best of seven boards, and dished a career and team-best of six assists in the 69-56 victory over Pace. In the 55-47 victory over Southern New Hampshire, Blackwood added eight rebounds, four points and three steals against the Penmen.
