Each week during the academic year, the NE10 honors Athletes of the Week for all of its 24 sponsored sports while they are in season. Faces in the Crowd shines a spotlight on outstanding on-field performances that didn't earn Athlete of the Week recognition, while also highlighting academic or community efforts from student-athletes across the league.

Faces in the Crowd is presented by Athletic Solutions, a national leader in NIL fan engagement and e-commerce technology, collaborating with colleges and universities to bring NIL Locker Rooms to life. Their platform simplifies NIL opportunities, providing student-athletes with the tools and exposure needed to thrive in the evolving landscape of college athletics.

Top performances you need to know across the NE10

Dani ALMEIDA

Franklin Pierce  Soccer  Caxias, PT

The senior scored two goals on the road at (rv) Queens in a 2-1 win for the then No. 18 Ravens.  The brace was the second of Almeida's season and gave him six goals.  He scored both goals withing two minutes.

Cooper MARCUM

Bentley Football Greenville, N.C. 

Marcum caught another two touchdowns at Assumption Saturday and hauled in a season-long 41-yard reception.  Marcum has seven touchdowns this fall, tied for third-most in Division II this year and second-best among tight ends.

Hedda HAUKLAND

American Int'l Soccer  Bodo, NO

Haukland made nine saves against Adelphi last week, her second-most in a match this fall.  The nine saves, however, are the most by an NE10 keeper in a shutout this season and helped secure a Yellow Jacket victory.

Skyla LANG

Bentley Swimming & Diving  Roseville, Calif.

Lang opened her season with the best times in the 100 and 200 Butterfly across the NE10.  Her 200 Fly is currently the best in the league by 12 seconds.  Her 100 Fly time was 0.1 second faster than Bridgeport sophomore Ceyda Genc.

Marija MILOSEVIC

Franklin Pierce   Volleyball  Bijeljina, BIH 

The freshman, hot off a week as the Rookie of the Week in the NE10, continued to roll.  She came away with nine blocks in four sets against the (rv) AIC Yellow Jackets.  The nine blocks are the most in the NE10 by any player this season,  She also hit .300, killed 10 balls and dug five more in the matchup against the league's then top team.

ABOUT THE NE10
The NE10 is an association of 10 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.

Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship. Leading the way in the classroom, on the field and within the community, the NE10 is proud of its comprehensive program and the experience it provides student-athletes.
