Each week during the academic year, the NE10 honors
Athletes of the Week for all of its 24 sponsored sports while they are in season. Faces in the Crowd shines a spotlight on outstanding on-field performances that didn't earn Athlete of the Week recognition, while also highlighting academic or community efforts from student-athletes across the league.
Faces in the Crowd is presented by Athletic Solutions, a national leader in NIL fan engagement and e-commerce technology, collaborating with colleges and universities to bring NIL Locker Rooms
to life. Their platform simplifies NIL opportunities, providing student-athletes with the tools and exposure needed to thrive in the evolving landscape of college athletics.
Below are this week's
NE10 Faces in the Crowd.
DJ Chaudhry
School: Assumption
Sport: Track & Field
DJ Chaudhry hit an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time in the 400m at the RiverHawk Invitational. Chaudhry ran in 48.27 seconds for a PR and the best time in the NE10 this winter.
Hannah Caiola
School: SCSU
Sport: Track & Field
Caiola ran the 500m at the Riverhawk Invitational in 1:13.33, winning the event and ranking second in the NE10 (she holds the top time). She was also part of the school's winning 4x400 team. Caiola now holds three of the top six 500m marks in NCAA DII history.
Jaden Kealey
School: Pace
Sport: Basketball
Kealey averaged 17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds while shooting 65 percent from the field across a 2-0 week for the Setters. The forward tallied 15 points and eight boards at Southern Connecticut State, followed by a 20-point, nine-rebound near double-double in a win over Saint Anselm, the No. 1 team in the conference.
In the process, Kealey became the 23rd player in program history to reach 500 career rebounds.
Lasse Volquardsen
School: SNHU
Sport: Men's Lacrosse
The German posted the best season-opener in NCAA history (at any level) against Felician. Volquardsen scored eight goals and assisted on seven more, giving him 15 total points. The points rank third in NE10 history and ninth in NCAA history for a single game performance.
Mario Paganini
School: Franklin Pierce
Sport: Ice Hockey
Paganini scored twice against Post to give him 19 goals on the season, a new season record for Franklin Pierce. He is also fourth in a season in total points, one point ahead of his head coach, Conor Foley. Paganini is just a sophomore.

ABOUT THE NE10
The NE10 is an association of 10 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.
Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship. Leading the way in the classroom, on the field and within the community, the NE10 is proud of its comprehensive program and the experience it provides student-athletes.
Fans can subscribe via this link to follow NE10 NOW on FloSports this season. The partnership between the NE10 and FloSports works to provide funds back to the athletic departments of the Northeast 10 Conference in support of student-athletes while promoting the league on a national platform.
